30 June: few blooms, one plant dying, nonuniform size.


15 July: not enough color, new flowers coming, more buds than blooms, plants not blooming uniformly.


30 July: stretching a lot, potential as cut flower, deadhead, good height, spent blooms don't detract, nice color, great yellow, nonuniform but great flowers, blooms pretty in all phases, foliage/flowers compliment.

15 Aug: responded well to deadheading, healthy, dead heads look nice, nice for gaillardia, deadhead still have color, uneven plant height, nice flowers, great in landscape.


30 Aug: deadhead, no flowers, seed heads add interest, almost done flowering, interesting in all stages.

15 Sept: deadhead, performing well.
